Michael Scofield portrayed by Wentworth Miller was one of the very important characters of Paul Scheuring’s American television series Prison Break. This character was liked by every fan of the show but in the final episode of the season 4, Michael died. Everyone was shown gathered around his grave. This hurt all the fans of the show as everyone was expecting to see Michael and Sara walking hand in hand after everything settles.
But now I have something to tell you all about Wentworth Miller, hope that may please you. The news is that Miller will be appearing on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU whose eleventh season is to be premiered on September 23, 2009.
Miller will portray the role of Nate Kendal who is a New York City cop. He will rescue a rape victim.

Doesn’t that sound great? I am personally very glad to know this that he will remain on television. I had been watching Prison Break since the first episode and trust me guys, I found Miller’s role as the main character of the show completely awesome. He was Lincoln’s brother and a structural engineer by profession. He created a systematic plan for his brother’s escape from prison.

You will be glad to know one fact about Prison Break that the creator of the show took the audition of many actors for this role but didn’t find anyone suitable for the same. But when Miller auditioned for this role just one week prior to the start of production, the creator got impressed by him.

Throughout the series, Michael faced various ups and down but as he was shown to be a strong man, he faced them and made his way through them and finally succeed in what he had toiled for.

It seems that the producers of  Prison Break cannot come over the fact that the show is finally over, just like several fans of the show. So after few special episodes that were aired recently to mark the culmination of the show, some more episodes have been churned out. Although they will be only available direct to DVD to people residing in the United States, it shall be broadcasted on local TV networks in Israel and U.K.
Here is something I got for this latest two hour special episode, which has been titled The Old Ball and Chain.
We go back some time before the death of Michael, which we saw in the season finale. It is when Sara, Michael and Lincoln feel safe after they finally get rid of the villainous Company. The episode starts with Sara (very much pregnant) and Michael getting married. But marital happiness for them does not last long as Sara is detained on the charges of murder of Michael’s mother Christina Scofield and subsequently Michael has to abandon all plans for the honeymoon as Sara is transported to the Miami – Dade Women Jail with not much of a trial and here she comes across a hostile acquaintance.

Here comes in Krantz who is unhappy at the Miami- Dade Jail for men and is quite pleased to hear about mess, Sara is in. So he prepares a deadly plan to eliminate her, setting a reward of $100,000 for her death. As soon as the news spread in women’s jail, Sara is in deep danger and must work hard to retain her life.
So a fabulous and superb end to the show, as Michael, who already by now is a master of break outs, gets his friends together, and prepares a detailed plan to get his wife out of prison, with time trickling down very fast. He must act fast for neither he nor Sara has any other option in hand, if they want Sara to live.
A very interesting episode, not to be missed. Typical Prison Break style of thrill and adventure.
