Life
The famous baseball champion Jorge Posada was a friend of Nolasco in their childhood days. Nolasco was not much into acting earlier, as he pursued biology at the University of Puerto Rico so as to study medicine later. He did lot of acting jobs and later shifted to the New York City where he attended the American British Dramatic Arts School and later went up The Marjorie Ballentine Studio to study along with a future colleague (in Prison Break), James Hiroyuki Liao. Then he shifted his base to Los Angeles to take upon acting as a career and even did job at the Conga Room which a famous club there.
An ardent supporter of Barack Obama’s Presidential campaign, Nolasco featured in the music video, "Yes We Can" by Will.I.Am as well.
In the past he has been talked of having romance with Dayanara Torres, who is a former Miss Universe. These days he is in a relationship with the famous House MD star, Jennifer Morrison, who enacts the role of Dr. Allison Cameron in the show.
Career
Nolasco has made several cameo and guest – appearances in shows like ER (2002), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2001) and Arli$$ (1999). He debuted as a major artist in the movies with the film 2 Fast 2 Furious (Universal Movies, 2003) in which he played the role of "Orange Julius". Then he appeared in the movie, Mr. 3000 (2004) where he starred opposite, Bernie Mac.
Other notable films in which he appeared are: Brother (2000), Final Breakdown (2002), The Librarians (2003), Street Kings (2008), Max Payne (2008) and Armored (2009).
Other film and television roles that Nolasco has done are on The Benchwarmers (2006), George Lopez (2003), CSI: NY (2005) and Mind of Mencia (29th April, 2007) etc. After his work on Transformers (2007), the director even talked to him for its sequel which he declined.
His most famous work till date is in the hit drama series Prison Break on which he is working currently since 2005.
Prison Break
In the super-hit Fox Drama series, Prison Break, Nolasco plays the very important character of Fernando Sucre, who is imprisoned at the Fox River State Penitentiary with the charges of culminate robbery. He is the cell mate of Michael Scofield and has the desire to re – unite with his lover and his unborn child. He takes part in Michael’s plan for this and after his escape is detained once again in Sona, only to run away again.
