So was I, when I came to knew that the December 22nd episode last year, named ‘The Sunshine State’ was not the end of Prison Break’s fourth season yet. Well, the reports are coming in that two extra episodes are being readied for an April release.
One is being named ‘The Mother Lode’ and will be aired on 17th April, 2009 itself and the other one will be aired on 24th April, 2009 and be named ‘VS.’

It was with a lot of bad mood that we had bid adieu to the show in December, as these four seasons have really been very closely followed by all the fans. But then good logic prevailed as people realized that one of the reasons due to which great popularity could have been achieved by Prison Break, is the remarkable story line of the show. So, if you keep dragging the story, what is the use, as it is surely going to spoil the very core of the series?

But now we hear that Fox is not going to let go this show easily. It has been a crown amongst its jewels. The show brought in so much revenue, acclaim, both public and critical for the network, so how can it be so easily let off?

But where will the story now be heading, I wonder. Last I recall, we saw that T – Bag, Self and Gretchen all have landed in Miami for Scylla, whereas Michael ran away with Sara’s aid and came to know more about his mother.

The coming back of the show, now, appears like it had taken a midseason break. We are so much glad, now that I think that the fifth season of the show may not be far away.

I know, very well that the producers of the show have been denying this for so long, but what if these two episodes are only being aired to test and toy around with the idea for a fifth season? I think this is the case. They are cooking up a fifth season, so in order to maintain continuity; they are making up these episodes.
